Large Fortune 500 Company seeking talented Regional Vice President of Distribution/Logistics for the West Region. This position will be based out of the corporate headquarters in MN and will be responsible for 10 union and non union Distribution centers and all the transportation for these facilities. This position will report to the President of the Region and drives a clear vision for logistics for the region, communicates goals, expectations, and drives results.Will be responsible for all personnel and P&L.

Looking for candidate that can be promoted within the organization over time. Opportunities for advancement and growth. Bonus and other compensation.

• Must have strong Distribution and transportation background, managing multiple 500K – 1M sq ft facilities with large employee populations.

• Must have the ability to influence and change without being dictatorial, but through collaboration, ability to engage and energize people toward common goals

• Must have managed both union and non union distribution centers.

• Must have strong business/financial acumen, P&L

• Must have strong logistics acumen – best practices in the industry, etc.

• Must have strong people leadership skills to develop and manage people and develop a high performing teams

• Must have strong interpersonal, communications skills and political savvy

• Must have food distribution experience and retail distribution experience
